Description
These plant starch Forks are biodegradable and white/cream in colour. Our Plant Starch range of cutlery is made from 70% plant starch material and 30% strengtheners to add rigidity and high heat tolerance. Compared to typical cutlery made from 100% virgin plastics they are a more sustainable choice. This cutlery is not compostable, the 70% plant starch content can compost but the strengtheners can not. This cutlery range therefore is biodegradable but not compostable.
This product is biodegradable but does contain plastic. We have taken the decision to discontinue it in favour of compostable CPLA cutlery or wooden cutlery, which we believe are greener solutions.
